Teen bedroom prettification... feedback or tips? I'm redoing my teens girl's bedroom and I'm trying to make it...
I'm redoing my teens girl's bedroom and I'm trying to make it a special and individual place for her so I've come up with some unique additions. One of the major reasons that she was so disorganized next to her clothes was because that in the morning she would try on several outfits past finally deciding what to wear but she didn't take the time to sway her clothes up again, so i've decided to put up a row of hooks for her to hang her hoodies etc. I've also arranged to put her dressor in the centre of her clostet and put a pegboard above it for adjectives her sports equipment like helmets and that sorts of thing, contained by addition to this, I've giving her a small area beside a rod for what she cant hang on the hooks.
Another thing that I've contracted to do for her room was paint the top half of the room above the chairboard surrounded by chalkboard paint, having the bottom half contained by a light sky blue to brighten it all up a bit, next to the chairboard being white. She is really artistic so I think she'll approaching it. continued.
a white fluffy comforter would look righteous with the white furniture.
the only fruitless thingy about having stuff lower than the bed is that leaves a whole new place to shove things and cast-offs up her room.
let her and her friends have a "room warm party" so they can all chalk her walls and if she sees how they close to it she may warm up to it even more!
this room is very cool
WAY TO GO MOM!
woah awsomee !
I choice I had a room like that lol.
you could run with a white blanket but the problem with white is it get dirty and stained easily.
if she is drinking somthing and it spills it would be hard to take out ! and if her feet get dirty or somthing it will grasp all over the blanket or if she had her extent and leaked at night.
Answers: Great room! You should approach her on picking out her clothes the night before but as my son other said, it's too late to change me. So... I could stir all day on bedding for this room. Here are some links to Amazon. Good luck!
Ok..let's see. I am a youth too, but I am the pink type. But I can tell what she wants and trust me, hanger are a big NO! I always stuffed my clothes in my closet and I never put them on the hanger, so I got a nice wooden drawer where I could lately fold up my clothes and put them in. LIFESAVER! But my mom did buy me this wooden closet at Wal Mart where I could fold up my clothes and put it surrounded by too. I have a small closet so I use that as my storage, so the room doesn't look as messy. Because having more space lower than your bed equals stuffing in more unnecessary junk. As for the bed, something resembling this would be nice:

Something like this wouldn't be bad, but if it have it in green, that is better because you don't want everything contained by blue.
The chalkboard is an awesome idea, but a huge desk is not very apposite because soon she would put ALL her stuff on it. The smaller the better. Maybe some bookshelves wouldn't be so bad either. Oh, and a fluffy white rug would be cool too:

I hope I help and gave you some new design, even though yours was cool too.
