Paint is inexpensive, you can get a gallon for around $15 and with all the supplies, be within under $20. I like to obtain cheap frames from the dollar store and frame pictures of things I like (pictures from magazines, pictures I've taken, etc.) You can also go and get strings of Christmas lights and hang them around the top of your room, if you like that. It give it a neat glow and you can simply use them instead of overhead lights. Another cool lighting idea is Chinese lanterns. I know Target have them for a while, but I ordered some very cool ones online for my wedding and they be quite cheap. You might have to ask mom first on that one, though. My room have been pink since I was born. Even though it's my favorite color it be just so faded and blah. So, I bought some light, almost mossy colored green paint and painted my room. It be so easy to even do without experience. After I be done, my room looked so different and bright and new and just that little renovation made me love it!
Answers: my room be pretty plain too so i decided to make a few change, first I've tried to repaint my room with light colors such as reading light green then I've replaced my curtains and bed sheets with white sheets and insubstantial yellow. oh well it made me surface much closer to nature and loved it :)
