I am a teen girl looking to re-do her room. I have decided that the colors will be teal and red. Also i want it to be a sofisticated NYC area.any ideas?
-also, i know about PBTeen and it will not work for me. I also know just about ikea and i love it..i just need great design thinking

Answers: grey accessories and beech wood furniture would go really other with that theme. next to those bright colours it is probably better to keep things quite minimal. no too much cast-offs on surfaces just a couple of candles or something and maybe contemplate about keeping books and stuff behind closed doors A low bed would look pious and as you said you like ikea - ikea has a brilliant one call malm that is quite stylish or one call mandal that has storage underneath to keep the second-hand goods away. Then just get a nice grey bedspred and grey or teal pillowcases. I would dance for venetian blinds to help the minimalist look
I think if you are going for sophisticated after lighting is going to be important. I would try and go for out of sight lights above the window and lights on the side of the wall. I would then walk for a bed without a frame and only a underneath. This will make it blend in and not be a side. For teenagers I would recommend a full length mirror, either as a closet door or inside a closet door. Then I would make a proper preparation nouns for hair and makeup that has fluorescent lights on the side of the mirror and a plug socket for your straightener or spine dryer. I like the square frame idea beside canvas that you can paint on and use Velcro to stick it to the wall to change it when you want. Then I would stir with box shelves to display some other items. polka dots!! lol!!
