I am in the prosess of building extra latest walls out of acoustic plasterboard and cork tileing my walls at the rear them as I live in a semi detached bungalow and am feed up hearing the neighbours , but what can i do within the loft to stop the noise coming through the loft and transmitting through thre celings from subsequent door ?
Answers:    the party wall within the loft can be fitted out with nouns proof boarding.you can also hang stout carpet on the wall but must be flame proof.it does work.
Insulate beside product like Kingspan thermal insulation, I'm sure they own acoustic insulating properties too.
Try the two links below or merely type acoustic insulation into Google search out bar. Even insulate for bake first then cover next to specialist soundproof boards ( Celotex i think)
