Software for room design? I am rearranging the entire house, and i am kinda a perfectionist...

I am rearranging the entire house, and i am kinda a perfectionist and enjoy to know exactly where to put things. up to that time i continue, i am HORRIBLE beside describing things so bear near me....
Basically, i am looking for a program that i can type in the measurements of a room and it will show it and i can type contained by measurements for furnature and it will let me place them contained by the created room. okay? and prefrerrably i would like it to be free or close to free.
