I see lots of answers of which COLOR to paint...go LIGHT, will make the room look larger, but what around fixtures, toilets and sinks?
This is my problem.SMALL bathroom, FLOOR measures about 32 sq feet (I will probably do LARGE white tiles)
It presently have a HIDEOUS Blue PEDESTAL, Blue TOILET and Blue SHOWER.. from the 80's can you tell?
How can I redo this bathroom and still kind it FUN and FRESH? I plan on redoing EVERYTHING, but dont want it looking TOO crowded...PLEASE HELP
AN ALL WHITE BATHROOM seems kinda boring..
.
why would you want to beautify when it's gonna smell anyway lol purple and red You'll definitely want to stay away from pedestal sinks and dance with the ones in a cabinet so you'll enjoy a place for towels and other supplies. There are really nice ones prebuilt that you can buy at a home supply. I bought a used antique dresser and put a sink in it for a small bathroom. It wasn't in great shape but after refinishing a bit it looked great - it even have it's own mirror. It was unique and the plumbing wasn't difficult (especially since my husband did it!).
If the shower is within a corner you might be able to make an open-type shower space. Remove the present shower stall and tile a space contained by a different color from the walls in that corner. Build up the floor in a square or other shape you'd want for the shower surrounded by that same tile and have it slope down to a drain. You can then put fixtures surrounded by the ceiling to support a curtain rod, which will support a curtain you can pull back when not using. It make the bathroom seem larger as well as looking really nice. Pick out doesn`t matter what fixtures you want for the shower (and remember you'll be looking at them).
umm go beside a clored them. like orange and white or pink and ginger or blue and white.
btw way your bathroom isnt that small...its actually bigger than my room!
Answers: I so be aware of for you!! We just redone our bathroom. Everything contained by it was yellow and have the ceramic tiles verywhere! Our bathroom is about 36sq foot. Start by looking for a small vanity something 24 inches by 12 inches. Look for toilets that are low and have a round bowl. We get ours at lowes it is made by Mancesco and it is traditional style. It is smaller than our old toilet which seems to give a hand on space. Also shop for a smaller bathtub. A smaller tile in my evaluation would be helpful to make it look bigger. I also suggest minimal frothy fixtures, lots of mirror to create the illusion of space.
