I'm pretty sure queen bed are only 6" wider than full bed, so the full comforter would only be 3" shorter on respectively side. Unless you have a really towering mattress I think it would probably be fine. See what the store's return policy is- you could other buy it then prefer if it will work when you actually see it on the bed. Good luck!

If you are going to newly fold the full size comforter at the end of your bed after you won't notice that it is a full. I've done this up to that time because it doesn't look weird and you can rescue an instant $20-$40.

Just make sure you hold cute sheets and a bedskirt because they will be exposed whether you fold the comforter at the end, or you enjoy it across your entire bed. The full comforter will fit your bed, but will juuuust barely cover your mattress.
