i'm a teenager and i enjoy a fairly colossal house. the house itself is 7,000 square feet next to 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. my bedroom itself though is only 13 by 14 and i want more space. i be thinking that the garage might be a cool idea. it's a 3 vehicle garage with nice window and it's attatched to the house and the basketball court as well as the entrance. the house/garage is solitary a year old so the garage is prefectly verbs. it has cement floors. would this be a well brought-up idea?
Answers: No. The house you described comes surrounded by the high luxury category. Do not mess near the best. Your parents worked too hard to earn this house you live within to not respect it.
1. If you do this and at some point your parents want to sell, no garage lowers the efficacy of the house as much as 25%...a three car garage at that horizontal is not a luxury but an absolute must. [Get consent (and good luck near this) to make a door between two rooms and later have a suite. Less structural change, and easier to return to pre-change conditions if your parents ever decide to vend.]
2. Cost. A full rebuild or adjust will be in the over $40,000 list and add nil to the value of the home. No rumble for the buck. You will need an architect, permit, building inspectors, contractors, subcontractors, decorators.and lots of time for all the work to draw from done. You are talking surrounded by the 4-6 month range if at hand are no serious problems.and there are other problems.
P.S. Your current bedroom is 15% bigger then my bedroom...and I share it beside my husband.
No, it wouldn't. My question is what is a pubescent doing with such a hulking house and acting as if she is the owner? Sounds fishy to me.
