try scrub design ..rotating the scrub..of may b orange color
that would look cute.. you may be able to find shaped sponges somewhere and put it on that way.. but you might want to add on another color! like teal, limegreen, black or brown.. so then you can attach different accessories! pink and black splatters would be different and more grown up! afterwards you can add black accesories such as throw pillows and rugs!
Answers: Why don't you do the pink splatters just on one wall--like the one that your headboard is against. Then conceivably you could paint the door and window trim and any baseboard molding in duplicate color of hot pink or a third color that you like.
That way, if your bed linens are hot pink and other showy items are pink, they wouldn't be too much of a good thing. People would catch sight of each item for how cute it is instead of everything disappearing in a deep-sea of pink.
