Do you think this is ureasonably large? I did the calculations and it come to $9.50 per sq ft. The industry average is only $5.50. The guy pressured us to sign on the spot, which we did but my husband sent the cancelation sense the next daytime. What should the average cost be for vinyl siding?
Answers:    Of course, Sears, Home Depot, lowes..any of these places that have installers are sub contractors... They do no work at adjectives and make partly the money . They hire sub contractors registered with them that will qwork for low-grade wages..then bump the price up and engineer money off the subs..and never touch the work
You must do the leg work yourself. I'm sure delighted you canceled Sears that price was a rip rotten. Siding is priced by the sq ft , but its the sq footage of the wall surface, not the sq footage of the floor area (2800) Get several prices from different contractors use the pale pages if you own to. Get written estimates and make sure everyone is bidding on duplicate work. When you think you know which contractor you approaching ask for names and phone numbers of current customers
they enjoy installed siding for. Then call them, if they be satisfied consequently you found your contractor. Remember this is a big decision and abundantly of money so take your time and brand name good choices and decision Good luck
