Hi, im repainting my room and theres only one problem- i have a red older couch that i got. if you have any concept for paint that would be great! i also have light wooden furniture to be exact called natural. my cover is just cream if that helps.
gratitude in advance!
I think that a warm butternut color would look really nice.
http://terryfrank.net/wp-content/uploads... you could do a standard lamp red, since you have a red couch. It would be cool if you could get a red quilt to match the couch.
play around near the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I similar to how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color ancestral & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color scheme. You can literally spend hours:

I think it would look wonderful to do a medium toned colourless like "spalding gray" (# 6074).
Answers: The butternut color the individual suggested looks so Awesome, Great idea and hope u go for it !
Good Luck
By the channel these people suggesting pinks and purples.. hello she said she has a red couch. No no no
the wall which is right behind the red couch paint it blood red... n the rest let them remain white or highly very light red. spread a white sheet on the bed and enjoy loads of red cushions!
if u did not like this u can have white surroundings with big red polka dots on all the walls. hmm it adjectives depends what colors you like or if you have a few to choose from. sorry, idk a shade of blue comes to mind to clash the cream and wooden but idk with the red couch.. well im sorry but i hope i help, best answer me ;]
i redid my room hot pink and light pink stripes resembling a victoria secret bag. i hold gotten so many compliments on it =] haha this doesnt exactly answer your question but you could try a form cover(;
do a majority cream, with one elocution wall red
or put red trim on the top of the wall (near the ceiling) LIGHT PURPLE..WITH WHITE POKADOTS..
Definitely a light pink. That would look soo cute. But if your not a devotee of light or any pink, then possibly a light blue. or even a brown like a mocha or a wishy-washy brown. Any of those colors would look great. I think that the website for sherwin williams has a paint tool that you could try. Hope this help! =) I am a girl and I love to coordinate colors soo this should help. Light green walls would look nice with a red couch. Make green pillows to dance on it (get a print with red in it and use this to get drapes and a bedspread also). If you throw the color red around the room here and there it will verbs the look together.
If you can buy a new comforter with some red surrounded by it, then paint a color from it. Here are some examples that might inspire you:
If you used this you could paint the walls a light aqua:

With gray walls:

With oil lamp blue or buttery yellow walls:

Whatever you decide, be sure to make the addition of some accent pillows to your couch that have some of your hot color in them to bring it all together.
These are type of expensive but will give you some ideas:

Now that I've looked at some of the pillows, I ruminate you can keep your cream bedspread and basically add pillows with reds and bedside light blues or aqua. Then paint the walls one of those colors! Adding a big print with your colors can bring it all together too!
Art is personal, but here are a few that I close to to give you an idea of what I indicate:
