Room lend a hand!? I am renovating my room, so far I have an orange and...

I am renovating my room, so far I have an orange and white quilt cover from ikea, and these two small red rugs. My floor is going to be a light-medium hardwood. So, I am going for orange as my main colour but I don't know what contrasting colour I should use. Any philosophy? Also if you have a link on any furniture/items that would also be appreciated! Thanks!
the ikea website shows lots of examples of cool rooms, or try their catalog. It sounds to me like your Fire element may be inadequate.

I think you should use white as an accent. You could also mix it up beside a little royal blue or fluorescent green. Add a little pale to the mix as well. I don't have any sites to assistance you. Sorry. Good luck. hmmmmm it dependss... yellow goes all right with orange if your looking for something a short time bit brighterr but brownn might tone it down a little and it will also tie it back to the hardwood floors..
virtuous luck =]
Answers:    purple is the complementary color to ginger. depending on the shade of orange, you could go more reddish-purple, or more bright like blue- purple. but if that's too bold, you could always run for a rich brown.
