Room decorate give a hand?!?!? I share a room with my sister, so I can't do anything...

I share a room with my sister, so I can't do anything drastic, but how can I make my areas of my room hold a kind of tropical California/Hawaii feel? I necessitate cheap, easy ideas inflict I don't want to spend too much money. I've already thought of hanging up pictures, what else can I do? Best answer gets 10 points!

you could also return with construction paper and make palm trees and other tropical works, get hold of new coloured bed sheets and then build some flower-like things they put around their bodies to hang around your bed. also a nice aresal can that has some sort of the deep scent would be nice. or scented candles.
I bought this house.it is an elder home...
you can hang some cute cheap leis and purely drape them over things. candels and flowers floating in little bowls of water would be cute too. shells and possibly even some put sand in a cute bowl or something--im not sure howd that work tho lol. if you can afford it, an aquarium.

If plants intrests you, you might try your hand at taking attention to detail of an orchid. They are harder plants to take care of, so you really enjoy to kind of have an intrest contained by it.

If not get a cheap vase and put silk orchids within it.

You can also use seashells in your decorating resembling glue them to a frame to make custom picture frames.
Can you use chalkboard paint on ordinary walls?
Answers:    yuo can return with a plain big square of corkboard and use it as a bulletin board. put a palm tree border on it. if u r allowed u can get bedding that looks hawaiin. u can hang up a surfboard or prop it against the wall. seize a sandy looking rug. u can hang leis everywhere. put like a sham pineapple/banana/tropical fruit centerpiece on a desk or bookcase. u can buy a bunch of little paper umbrellas that go contained by drinks and open them all, seize a big styrofoam ball and stick the sticks in in attendance. put it on a string and hang it.there is soo much more too.u can type is tropical room decorate on google and find lots more. hope i helped!!

how roughly speaking like a grass skirt as a bed skirt? and maybe some close to hawiian-themed lights, like the christmas lights kind of lights? you could gain a hawaiian print comforter too (: there's lots of do it yourself projects you could find on google if you looked (:
Soundproofing a room?
Get the bamboo blinds. Some new sheets and blankets. Decorate lamp, or get new lamshades. Definetly hang up some pics and posters up. Check out RonJon Surf Shop if you have one near your house they enjoy a lot of cool stuff.
