Room Decor..? I am going to redo my room this summer, because it hasn't...
I am going to redo my room this summer, because it hasn't been do over again since I was 5! I want to paint my walls but I'm not sure what color. I will either paint adjectives the walls a subtle color (that I can stand to look at day and night) or choose one wall to go adjectives crazy on. Anyway, I was wanting some tips, suggestions, whatever you can grant cause I can't really decide on anything. I would approaching to have an eclectic theme next to some pop art (I like the wild colors & technique of Andy Warhol) in my room. I like Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, & adjectives kinds of old Hollywood actress. I currently have a brown & tan leopard runner so I think bright colors (like hot pink) will complement it. I can't go out and spend seriously of money. Everything has to be cheap or reasonable (lol). So it make the task a little bit more difficult. 5 stars to the best answer! Thanks contained by advance.

I went nuts and painted my room orange, my hanger-on purple, and bought a bunch of bright colored stuff to go with. However, as cute as it is, i really desire i did a more subtle room.
a brown and tan leopard carpet could dance realllly well with a standard lamp blue wall and an accent wall of a plum purple by your bed. Its very unflustered looking and sophisticated, YET fun enough for a young girl.
I choice i did that =D my friend did it and its adorable.
How about chalkboard paint? You can also construct it magnetic as well as choose different colors. This would be fun but you can also own a clean look or really make it unreserved depending on what you write on it. I would definately say 2 walls purple 2 walls orange, and perchance a light green comferter w/ orange and purple pillows. You can buy stuff and make the comferter yourself, and u just obligation 2 buy paint 4 like $10 altogether, and u got yourself a spanking new room!

Answers: I would paint the walls a warm sandy color to complement your rug. Buy a plain cream colored comforter and jazz it up beside brown, tan, black pillows. If you want a bright accent color, use the pink,red, blue or red sparingly in a vase, planters, or candles. Go near posters of old Hollywood.

If you use black and white, you could frame or mat them surrounded by your accent color (pink, red, blue or orange) so that they'll pop!
