I am renting a house with especially busy and bright flower wallpaper. I can't remove it or paint over it. Does anyone have concept on how I can cover it while I am living there and know how to undo the cover up when I move out?
Material on walls.Starch it and roll on or lightly cartridge...http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/rm_walls_other/...
Difficult short damaging it contained by some way... You could put up baton around top of room and staple fabric or bin liner paper to it, but anyone that concerned in the region of maintaining 'bad' wallpaper probably won't want holes surrounded by it either. Are you sure they won't see the benefit of your 'updating' it?
wall to wall pictures - but still have need of to pin them up..
I think you might own to move!!
Answers: Buy some pretty cloth or curtains and hang that over it, it will distribute the room a very pretty and markedly dramatic effect too!
You can buy some foamboard and put that over it, but do it in a method that doesn't damage the wallpaper. Put them up resembling panels. You can even paint them BEFORE putting them up, later you have a intact new wall.
You can buy some screen, those folding screens, similar to the shoji screens, but you'll still hold some showing above the screen.
I love the theory of curtains if you can put some rods up. It gives a tremendously dramatic effect and looks so pretty to have a room draped surrounded by them. Ask your landlord if they'll allow that.
I hope some of these accepted wisdom help! Good luck!
