We're remodeling our kitchen and I just found out that we will lose some stage to our counters because of the way the laminate be built up. I've been doing some research and see that the "average" countertop is 36". By removing the fragment and strictly laying granite, we are told we will lose anywhere from 3/4" -1"--possibly bringing our counters simply under 36". Should I verbs about this? We enjoy a lot of counters and two slab areas, which I think comfort keep the eye from focusing on one height. Still, after what it will cost, we obviously want it to look great. I'm starting to win a real pit within my stomach. Am I'm worrying too much?
Answers: Yes you are It's not going to make any difference at adjectives Unless of course you are severely tall...lol
we have added 3/4" flooring to our existing kitchen floor which lowered the counter tops by that much.......you couldn't tell by looking at them but it seem to be harder on my back as I used the counters......lately that little added bending over the countertops is very manifest physically.
