we just bought a house that we plan on living surrounded by for at least the subsequent 5-7 years. it has 1660 sq ft. fundamental floor has kitchen 12x11, dinning room 12x12 living room 16x14 master 19x10 and another bedroom 12x10 and a small bathroom and long corridor. upstairs has loft nouns 26x14 and 2 bedrooms 13x11 and a half hip bath. what i was wondering is we survey that HGTV all the time. we be thinking about knock down the wall between the 2 downstairs bedrooms and making the master larger and adding another generous master bathroom so we would have a master suite. that would still depart from us with 3 bed and 2.5 baths. i want to know if that will increase the value of my home going from a 4 bed 1.5 hip bath, another problem is we are the largest house in the nouns right now. near was an upstairs added, adjectives the other houses are smaller 1 story prolly 1000 sq ft homes. other houses around are going for 70-80k we bought ours for 110k. would it be worth doing this remodel???
Answers: it is your house, you are going to live there. as far as resale you still own 3 bed and 2.5 bath the most contained by demand home for resale. master suites are a big plus in our time. in 5-7 years appropriate chance the neighbors will do some improvements and their values should increase as all right. the changes you write roughly speaking should help your plus without making your house give the impression of being out of place. do you intend to do it yourself? if you are going to compensate to have this done after you may be wasting your money. the value of the neighborhood may never budge up as much as you would need to freshly break even.
