Reframing alternative? Ive noticed surrounded by some homes they have a raise ceiling...

Ive noticed surrounded by some homes they have a raise ceiling inside a ceiling.
I have 5 years experience as a carpenter but I do not enjoy any experience in structural loading.

I want to know if is i pinch a room cut a smaller rectangle or square in the ceiling's drwall, supported the joist and cut the square and reframed a box, .would this be possible
Need relieve next to cleaning supplies?

I assume the above the room in quiz is attic space.

You would be cutting the trusses or joist and potentially damaging the structural integrety of the home. Consult an architect or structural finagle first.

Another option would be to install a soffit around the walls thereby giving you the look in need messing with the structure.
