My home was built contained by 1867 and has harwood floors throughout. I hold begun sand my kitchen floor and would like to know what specific product (brand & type) would be a devout sealer/ polyuerothane to use when I'm finished. I will be keeping it natural in need a stain.
Answers: After you are done with the sand, put on a sanding sealer. Let dry and delicately sand again. Then use "VAR ETHANE" water groundwork polyurethane on the floor. This stuff does not yellow next to age. Put on at least two coats next to a pad. When the floors look bleak you can put on another coat with no problem.
