I am getting a new leather sofa. Do you think i should play it locked with a cream or brown one ? or get a Red one ? Will a red one looked dated reasonably quick ? it is a nice one with square style arms. not sure if i should play undisruptive with cream what do you all assume ??
If anyone is in the know on style & colours for living rooms help would be great
I don't really own an answer for you because that's a tough call but I do have something almost colors. We painted our living room a green color that I loved a couple years ago. Well now it's getting old and I want to paint again, but we bought our off-white sofas around 6 years ago and I'm still not sick of them! That's the thing with colors, you may approaching them at one point but they can get old really hastily. Good luck with your decision! red can look aged markedly quickley, in and out of fashion. i would present a great deal of thought depending on the material and the rest of furnishings and how long you would want it to ultimate.
why not go for a neutral colour and buy some red throws and cushions, which would be much easier snd cost smaller quantity to replace. .
Red is fine as long as nearby aren't a lot of bright colors in the room. You inevitability to be sure the room doesn't look too busy. If I were you, my concern would be that it would go out of style up to that time I was willing to buy a up to date sofa. However, you could always buy covers in the adjectives if it came down to that. I think a red couch next to creme pillows would be nice. I would also consider a chocolate color for the furniture in the room for balance. Keep the walls a indeterminate tan color. Red is my favourite colour, but on something as a voluminous and as permanent as a sofa it may be a bit much. A good designer will inform you to keep the investment pieces, such as a sofa in a impartial colour and use accessories to provide your pop of colour. If however, you want the red look, why not invest in a without bias coloured sofa (beige or brown) and get a red slip cover so that you have the prospect of changing the look if you get tired of it?
red! but not leather.
If you like the red, go for it. I don't suggest red will ever be out of style and you can change the look of the room with different pillows, nouns rugs, and art work. Navy and red, yellow and red, tan and red, black/white and red...adjectives look great together! It depends on your wallpaper and your carpet.
Red will make the room discern warm and can look really nice
Creams nice in any edging really
My opinion is to get red but it's your room and you can do what you want next to it :)
Answers: The red sofa could endow with you a big pop and you might love it. It will also age quickly and you are likely to tire of it hurried. A good sofa could easily end 20 years. In that time I would change my colors and look 3-4 times and such a bold piece would really limit option.
If it is an investment piece, go with cream, black or brown and turn wild with the pillows. If the sofa is not one that you want to know how to keep for more than a few years, then red could work. The one exception - if it would break your heart not to buy the red - next go for the red. Design love matters.
brown if it goes near rest of room go for red why not
Depends weather or not you can afford to replace it if you get sick of the sight of it!
I would play it sheltered & accsesorise with bold colour cushions if I was you. if you dont bear good care of it i will guess the red one would find old-looking quick
