A new deck be just built to replace one that be rotted. This was done by the expressions of a buy/sell agreement. The contracter painted the deck red. I have not see it yet and the buyer never requested it. Could this be some sort of sealant?
Answers: It is probably stain. Depending on the type of wood it is, cedar will clutch on a reddish hue when hermetically sealed. I hope it isn't paint.
It could be stained wood... or some kind of sealant. Personally, I'd lean more towards the stain notion.
