Red Curtains!? Hi, I have some bright red chairs contained by my family...
Hi, I have some bright red chairs contained by my family room and requirement to find some red curtains to match. I enjoy been to every store I can meditate of and none of the red colors match, most are a moment or two darker red than the chairs. I also hold an off white couch and goldish-yellow walls, would it look funny if the red be not exactly the same? What should I do??
In quotation to the curtains. I would try the fabric store, and in recent times make simple panel. You can use iron on tape is you don't sew. You can even look on vein for fabric stores. I enjoy even make curtains out of sheets. So conceivably look for fabric unwary made and then you will gain a custom look. It is also okay to go next to different tones of red. Just try and stay close . And add acsent pillows to tie it within.
Not duplicate red is very unpromising!
They change the dye lots every year, so you'll probably never find like peas in a pod colour, unless you bought the curtains in alike year and place you bought the chairs. If it was final year, maybe you can find duplicate hue in the outlet stores.
Otherwise run with a print that incorporates the other colors within the room as well as the red, so its smaller number obvious the shades are slightly different. Paisleys or even tapestry or plaid contained by winter, softer florals in the summer, probably. So many prints and pattern to choose from .
Or try stencilling your own curtains going to the paint store, you'll find the exact color, then use your imagination to enhance on a beige or golden spinal column ground. Maybe do it on paper first so you don't squander good material tons of stencilling ideas
Good Luck!
Answers: I dream up you can definitely tag on red draperies in a shade to be precise not an exact match to your chairs reasonably successfully. Often it is more pleasing to the eye to layer variation of the colors of your color palette.
Just be sure to be consistent with the underlying tone. For example, if the chairs enjoy a blue undertone, the draperies could lean more to a cooler tone of burgundy, and if it is a yellow below tone, go more toward the furnace tone of an orange red.
Good luck and hold fun with it!
