I think the best decorate books aren't books at all but magazine. I clipp ideas from mags and place them contained by a folder. Could be some subtle element within a room or an entire design scheme. Maybe the colors used, the glass treatments, furniture placement, art groupings, whatever. Every room surrounded by my home is designed with some notion I got from a magazine. Not one room is base entirely on a picture but has some feature of design from that picture.
