My parents gave me a wicker conservatory suite to help furnish my clean flat when I flew the nest at 19. It was fairly expensive but they had merely moved house themselfs and had no room for it so they reluctantly give it to me. after three years of partying and spilling, beer, food, beans and general dirt as all right as marking the wooden arms they would resembling it back in place for there up to date bigger house.

Its looking pretty grotty. Whats the best style to clean it up and and make available it new go? My father is going to kill me when he see the state of the once cream cushions and the very unsuccessfully marked wooden arms. Could I possibly varish them. HELP!!!!!
Answers:    Don't assume you can launder the cushion covers. If they're completely removable, take them to a dry cleaner and ask the best cleaning method or if they're ruined. If they deliberate they're salvageable, get a cost estimate beforehand having them cleaned.

Use a wood-cleaning product on the wooden parts that are dirty and tatty. (A home fix-up store will have something. I close to Murpy's Oil Soap.) Once it's clean, touch up gash and scratches beside MinWax or another company's stain stick in the closest color contest. If you don't find an exact match, move about one shade lighter, not darker.

Then insubstantially sand the whole and re-seal near varnish, polyurethane, or whatever product give a similar finish to the original surrounded by terms of explain.

The set's not going to look as it did when you got it, even after the cleaning and touch-up staining. So brace yourself!
Sounds close to you need to sand them down and re stain them and afterwards reaposter the seats.
