The door and window frames, the wood around it well mine is brown. and my room is black and white, so i want to paint over the wood so it is black or white. is that okay to do, or would i hold to buy new frames and stuff?
Answers: You can paint the door and window frames, but you will call for to apply primer first. When the primer has dried, you can apply the paint.
Start with a primer to prepare the wood for paint. After you prime it you can paint it anything color. It's also best to go with a primer because not lone will it lighten the area to adopt a new color with one coat of paint, but it costs 1/2 the price of paint. You can paint over the frames. Just create sure you use a primer first, otherwise the wood will soak up the paint and you'll have to use a lot more than you planned.
