I need to angle my floral centerpieces off the table in the region of 2 or 3 inches. Does anyone know of an inexpensive pedastal type block that will help me do this? It requests to be clear or glass, so it doesn't nick away from the flowers. I need relief! I'm stumped!
Answers: Is this for a wedding or merely home? Just wondering how many you be looking for. Honestly it might sound cheesy but a moment ago go to the dollar store. If you look rugged enough you can find some things that you can work next to. Just go within the craft section and return with creative. I pick up a lot of likelihood and ends from there when it comes to decorate my house and nobody ever knows. In certainty I get lots of complements and it will recover you lots of money especially if this is your own wedding. Or if you know someone who is correct with wood work hold them cut out a square, round or whatever shape you preference 2-3 inch block of wood. You can paint them according to the wedding colors (a matte paint would probably work best) or you can sponge twinge it. Then on the top of the wood use a craft glue to paste a mirror on the very top. Then place the centerpiece over the mirror. It will raise the centerpiece but the mirror will help out to not take away from the flowers. It might nouns weird but it will look sophisticated. You might want to just try it near one of them. I saw it at my cousins wedding. well brought-up luck!
this is what I do - get some books that you own at home and get a piece of things the coordinates with your decor or simply use an extra napkin from your table and lay over files - then put your arrangement on top Remember though if you are ingestion at the table not to have your arrangement too elevated where you guests can't confer to each other.
