I am looking at some furniture from Havertys (http://www.havertys.com). I am questioning the competence of the furniture. Is anyone an expert about this that can make clear to me how is stand vs. other furniture stores or just surrounded by general. Will this furniture be around 100 years from very soon?

Answers:    Its as good as any other. I hold three pieces that I bought from Havertys 15 years ago and they are still serving me well.

If you want feature furniture that's still around 100 years from now, afterwards you really want to check out unfinished furniture. Unfinished furniture manufacturer must use higher standards because they can't cover up their mistakes near paint and stain.

If you're not interested in finishing the furniture yourself, after most unfinished furniture stores will custom finish the pieces for you.
