ok, i bough this house in june 06, looked great, in recent times had an supplement done for 140k, well today i go downtown to get my licence for an addition because i required to enlarge my house and while my plans be getting reviewed, it turns out the previous owner who did a 15x15 addition built the in one piece thing on the blink, wrong concrete, wrong rebar 3/8 rebar when its supposed to be 1/2, faulty masonry block, no lintels, no tie downs, not working roof, the whole PS is faulty and is so unsuccessfully built, and as it turns out, the addition is built below required stratum and the second bedroom has termites, adjectives of which he was supposed to discolse but didnt, the contract office recommend it all be torn down, be talkin about a 15x30 shred down. i want to sue the bum who sold me this house, but im wondering, what can i sue him on, could i win and how much can i get?

gratefulness for all the minister to.
Answers:    Did you have a home inspection? IF you did later you can sue him/her! They are responsible for inspecting everything! I'm not sure exactly about sueing the actual seller b/c I'm sure when you bought it you bought it "as is". Which means here is nothing you can do.
Sue the inspecter that be suposed to gibe you an on the fence assesment of the house...

EVERY sale is suposed to bring surrounded by a professional inspector to look everything over... If s/he didn't do their job consequently it is THEIR *** on the line.

If it is as impossible as you say later the inspector must have be blind or bought off by the merchant to give you a verbs bill of health...
