We plan on changing our mat for the whole house. One retailer recommend nylon and another polyester. We plan to stay in this house for another 7 years. Would polyester be a flawless choice for bedrooms, nylon for family and living rooms and commercial title for basement? Thank you.

Answers:    Yes -- you are right but I would suggest/recommend something more durable for the Family Room -- resembling a Berber.
