On removing old quality newspaper from a wall in my lounge, pieces of plaster come off. I enjoy had these patch plastered now and adjectives is o.k.
My question is, can I use some wallpaper blend that was vanished over from the hallway that have just be decorated to size the wall up to that time papering?

Old plaster often detaches itself this passageway, it might be worth sizing the whole wall or probably just the bits that look porouse next to pva to stabilise it before decorate again.
