im planning on changeing my extension on the back of my house from a flat roof to a pitched roof and changeing square doors to french doors does anyone no if i would need planning okay thanks
Anytime you are making structural change it is wise to check beside your county inspectors to see if you need permit. It's not a big deal but could reclaim you a fine in the adjectives.
Well i really hope not cos I am having that done!
You are not varying the size of the extension and the patio doors/french doors are matching size!
so in answer - NO!
Answers: you should phone up local council as changing the roof will obligation it to comply with building regs as a minimum
planning may be needed depending on the affect/if any on neighbours insubstantial, volume increase, different materials
assume its not a conservatory
