I am getting a new mattress and similar to the look of platform beds does it event on the type of mattress I get or does it solely work with mattresses close to tepur-pedic?
Answers: You can use any type of mattress on a platform bed. You don't really need a box spring element provided, the platform has a solid top. If it newly has slats, you will stipulation a box spring. Box springs also make the bed greater, you may or may not like the make a payment height.
I prefer pillowtop mattresses because of the rise it gives. Alot of platform bed I have see are lower to the ground. I am not sure what Tempur-Pedic uses, but I do know that a couple friends of mine had one, and they said they still tossed and turned at hours of darkness (just their opnion).
