yes i want to get my house rewirded and entail to know do i have to bring back a permit to do that. and if so and i dont get hold of one what wil happen and where on earth do i get them and how much do they cost? thank u completely much:)

Answers:    When in doubt, phone up!!!! let me voice that again, when in doubt telephone. Takes five minutes, costs you nothing. Re-wiring the entire dwelling is a time consuming and expensive living, when you have certification you have to enjoy an inspection, this assures you the work has be done properly.

The cost of the permit is minimal (usually a small % of the available job price).

IF you should have gotten one and didn't, the penalty CAN be stiff, everything from fines, to making you remove all the modern work (and do it again) to condemning the dwelling. Even stiffer penalties can be have someone do the work incorrectly and burning your house down.
