Painting thinking? I have really textured walls and I was wondering if in attendance...

I have really textured walls and I was wondering if in attendance were any unique/different paint techniques or accepted wisdom that I could try (something other than sponge painting), that I wouldn't havr to paint solid color.
Or does anyone have experience beside spray guns. Can you reccommend any cheap ones and where I can get one.is it possible something I could rent. Thanks!!
Answers:    Try rolling on two colors raining on wet. This faux painting technique works okay with a textured wall. The technique goes by different name "double roller technique" is one name. The overall look is a mottled finish. It is best to use one darker color near one lighter color (or white). The paint is applied with two separate wool rollers. See this link for more detailed information on how to do this one: http://www.paintinganddecoratingconcours...
If you're artsy at adjectives, and have the time, you could just paint something from your mind or print out a picture from the internet and paint it on your wall. It would be something creative and personal, as okay.
