We are painting our bedroom a dark burgandy color almost open purple over a beige paint. We bought satin paint and we are painting over semi interpret. My hubby didnt prime the walls since we were painting over a fluffy color. The pain seems to be streaking though and I be wondering if this is because we didnt prime it? We are still trimming though and that may be why the paint is streaked cause of the took he is using.
On two walls we are doing the dark burgandy and on the other walls an olive green. How do you grasp the colors to meet right in the corners also?
Any suggestions??
Answers: It would own helped priming because of the semi gloss. But when sculpture with dark paint, you patently need more than one coat. Wait for the first to dry then walk over it all again. Get an angled brush for the corners and go slow. Good luck!
idk y its streaking, ive never hear of satin paint, but to get paint in the corners use a big paintbrush not a rolling one and use painter tape
