I am a 18 yr old I have my own room I still live near my parents, I am not planning to move until I am done with college, but for now I want to paint my room So recntyl I get some paint on sale, at sherwin williams, I bought a gallon this color for the wall called chartreuse or something approaching that its like a light green witha touch of sickly, then one quart of french gray and one quart of faminco pink. It showed on this paper piece they had that the grey was for the trim and pink for the articulation, what is a ACCENNT?
My room is not that big at all, So I as wondering what can I do with this paint to bring in it look nice, Or should I return the gray? Can I even return paint at SHerwin WIlliams?? I need Ideas my ceilling will be white I have ceiling paint and premire,
no dumb answers please appreciation
Answers: The accent can be anything. Some people will paint one wall a different color from adjectives the rest, and that is called an "articulation wall." Or you could use it to paint stripes or a stencil. The gray should go on your baseboards, the door, the door frame and the window frames.
I deliberate it would look great to paint the wall behind your bed pink, and the rest chartreuse.
An accent can be the focal point of your room, if it's not a big room to start next to. Do you have a fireplace, a wall you want to highlight, or your headboard - what's the first entry you want people to notice when they bearing in the room? This is what I would paint pink. Then use the green color on the other walls, and the grey on the woodwork. Good luck! well u should paint ur room simply pink and it depends on ur furniture color like if it was black (ur furniture) it would look great but i also recomend table lamp blu not baby blu but a not dark blue powerfully just in beetween color and white furniture
