of a single wide? We're trying to fix it up and make it look for a time nicer.
It's one of those white metal doors and it needs a new coat of paint inside and out. the outside ofthe house is white and grey beside green shutters. I've always wanted a house beside a red front door, but I think that would be too bright, especially with the method the door sits fluch to the exterior of the house.
On the inside of the I'm planning to do something like this http://www.reallifedecorating.com/countr... to the walls and I think white would be too strict againt the yellow walls.
The door is like a big chunk of one on the living room walls. There is no foryer, but I would approaching to somehow make a nice little entry way here--warm and inviting, but save it uncluttered at the same time. I'm really no good at decorate so please help! LOL
Answers: I think three colors on an exterior is the shorten without looking like a carnival so If you want a red door it would be great beside grey and white but I think the shutters would need to be red also. In one and the same vein of thinking if the shutters are green why not make the door duplicate? Generally you can use two tones and a small amount of an accent color. With a grey and white for the background two -you might consider a wide navy for the door and shutters. Hope this helps.
