Please could you help? I am moving house, of which the walls have need of painting. I am doing it adjectives on my own, and have no plastering skill, so primarily need guidance on which colours to use to best hide that the walls are a bit patchy!
Thanks much!
If you don't want the faux finish, stick with a flat/matte paint, they don't show the imperfection as much as the glossy ones do.
Painting coarse walls is tricky and often doesn't turn out great (from experience) you can try fine art it and doing a faux finish which will hide the problem or you can chew over of wall papering with a paterned thesis which can also mask the roughness.
Good luck
Answers: How more or less sponging or wiping? That should cover some of the unevenness.
A sponge technique can camouflage unsightly cracks and patch on your walls. To sponge paint uneven walls you will want semi-gloss latex paint, in two colors.
