Painting a room? im going to paint my room white and put bright colored picture...

im going to paint my room white and put bright colored picture frames and decorations on the wall and bright bedding.. but the problem is is that i have whit crown molding and a white ceiling and i think nearby would be too much white does anybody have any ideas of what i could do?

oh i be also thinking about painting this small wall contained by my room that i hang my guitars on black using black magnetic paint so that i can swing my sheet music up.. would that be ugly?

thanks for the answers contained by advance
To make the crown pop, I'd suggest picking a color.perhaps one the shade of one of your frames or even better.BLACK! It'll pop similar to crazy but work with any of your frames.

I agree it'd be way too much white if you don't paint it.

wouldnt it be cool to follow the edges of your walls/ceilings/floors beside bright colored paint?

almost like a picture frame around your wall?

i dont like the black for guitars, bc black and bright colors dont mix.

hope it help!

Answers:    play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you similar to. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I similar to that you can search by color family & color entitle, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

Instead of a pure white wall color, how more or less doing something like "flexible gray" (# 6275)? That way your brightly colored accent will still pop, and so will the white trim. And I like the idea of using the appealing paint.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can grasp an idea of what it will look like.
