I'm thirteen and i just bought a new bed spread that have pink and brown spots on it. Should i paint my room pink or am i too old for that?
Guess it all depends on the shade of pink you pick out. There are so copious to choose from. you could always dab it brown splotches throughout the pink walls next to a sponge or a rag. feathers can make a cool effect too. maybee even do the trim surrounded by brown... i love pink. it's not about the color, it's about what you do near it. get a decorating magazine from home depot or the bookstore. you can generate pink look really good, not lame.

There are some sophisticated pinks out within - you don't have to necessarily get a color that looks similar to bubble gum or cotton candy. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the pattern, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can explore by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most faithful, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. Personally, I'm never been a huge devotee of pink, so I would choose a light brown instead like "sandy ridge" (# 7535).

You can also thieve a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an hypothesis of what it will look like.
Answers:    You're never too old for pink if that's what you similar to. Besides, there's pink and then there's pink. You don't have to do the complete room one colour, either. Maybe just do the wall the bed is on contained by the same colour as the pink in the cover, pick up that colour and the brown in a few other things in the room.
