Paint for Lampshade? Does anyone know if it is possible to get paint that could...

Does anyone know if it is possible to get paint that could be used on a parchment lampshade. I would approaching it to be a transparent coloured paint that would look like stained chalice.

The lamp I enjoy has two coils of parchment bending up a 5ft vertical fluorescent tube so replacement is not an option.

Answers:    You can procure paint for doing (fake)stained glass work,which is cellulose or plastic based-as the shade is for a fluorescent standard lamp heat is not an issue. Or you could use watercolour paints,diluted and used as a dust.
