Paint experts: Is it true that mixing together different colors of unwanted paint results contained by fawn? I love color, and I love to paint..but I'm also color challenged...
I love color, and I love to paint..but I'm also color challenged (can't identify undertones too in good health sometimes), and this means I end up next to leftover paint in many colors. Someone told me if I just blend them altogether that it will turn out beige, and consequently I can make use of it somewhere (a closet or something). I like the concept if it's true.but right presently I have two shades of green, a chocolate brown and a pale coral. If I be to mix all these together it probably would be enough paint to net a gallon.but would I truly end up with buff?
it would only turn a type of beige if you lone had shades of white and a little brown. next to the colors you have you would get a differnt shade of green because of the amount of green you already hold Whoever told you this is pulling your leg.
If you add random colors together, you're more possible to end up with black (or something close to black). I can guarantee you that the colors you own will NOT make beige.
start with your feathery color and add your darker color for a while at a time, not saying you'll end up beside your beige but might be somewhat close and a color you'll like for your closet. Mixing any colors will result within the color beige is not true at all, and you must consider that the acrylic paints dry much faster than the feeble latex which could result in blochy uneven sheen. Give it a try you can receive a can of paint darker easier than trying to make it lighter, lug your time and good luck, Les the painter You will not always fall up with beige! To build a dedicated paint colour you use various blends of concentrated paint dyes and what you own left over is diluted so you will end up beside a dull colour. If you do mix them together and you don't have enough to finish the undertaking you will never get the same tone again. Just step to the paint/hardware shop and by some cheap but good quality magnolia emulsion and free the hassle.

No, you'll other end up with what the combination equals. To see what I stingy, look at a color wheel. You can usually find these cheap at arts and crafts stores. it really ends up in a helpful of mud grey, not appealing at all
