Answers: Burgundy is fine BUT...one of the most up-to-date color trends is red/orange I think it would frustrate the brown really well.
We hold always gone beside paint colours by Resene (NZ company) quite a few specialised paint shops get rid of them. The most popular colours we have used enjoy been Almond Frost, Napa, Sisal, Tea (of adjectives strengths - half, quarter, double tea) and more not long a beautiful colour call Lemon Grass in both partially and full strength. We recently did a bedroom surrounded by half tea beside a feature wall contained by almond frost and then festooned the bedroom with a white doona cover and accentuate the bed with turquoise sheets and throw pillow and consequently I did a long canvas for the wall beside the turquoise, with white blotches and bronze. (contemporary art). In our lounge we painted the walls the tea colour and feature one part of a wall which stuck out surrounded by a red called Toffee Apple and after decorated the lounge near two leather armchairs in a burgundy colour and a long lounge next to the chaise part on the wind up which is a almond frost-like colour with black and it looks fantastic. I also did a huge contemporary art drawing of swirls of all the colours including the toffee apple splashes and sprinkled a bit of gold ingots leaf on it. People comment on it adjectives the time. We have a moment ago bought a renovator house and it has burgundy facet walls which really close it in and make it quite bleak so we will be getting the paintbrushes on to that!!!! I can send you the bedroom photo if you want to see the colours. Just look out with your point walls cos it can restrict you to the colour of your furniture. I feel indeterminate colours and feature walls are uncomplicated to decorate. Also turn onto the net and scour for Resene colours,. they have them adjectives there. Search for the name I have given you and they come up.
