Answers:    Lots of wrought iron candle sticks, tapestries, and stuff close to that - maybe some shields or other "armour" type stuff, too. And try to engineer your bed into a canopy bed by flaccid velvet drapery around it - either from the bed itself if you own a four poster, or from your ceiling.
