Hi, i would go bright as it will hold on to you awake and alert, a dark colour will be melt, inviting you to have a sleep. Maybe do a portion wall though, do not paint the whole room matching colour. Maybe do a nice cream colour on 3 walls then do your characteristic wall a different bright colour (lime green, orange, or possibly even red) with some nice art on it.
