Answers: I am not sure why you are painting the cup part, unless you are drying to dull the chalice. Two options - one is to contact chalice green house people who paint their chalice in summer to hold the plants from roasting - it is a translucent white. How they get it sour, I don't know. The other is to go to a flawless home center or hardware store or to an auto supply store and get a can of large temp engine paint, which typically comes in gray, black, white, and red. It will stand the fry. To encourage sticking, since you hold already sanded, clean the surface with heat up soap water on cloths, not purely spraying, then rinse thoroughly, consequently use denatured or high percentage (90% or more, not 70%) rubbing acohol to further verbs as you do each one. Apply the paint surrounded by the temperature field on the can, not too hot or too cold.
It might be better to use metal if you are going to paint it opaque.
