Need support near decorate a small living?!? There is one larger window on the east side, and to be...
There is one larger window on the east side, and to be exact where the front door is, plain wall across from porthole, closet on the south side and a brick hearth (it be for a wood burning stove that we don't have anymore, possible to purloin it down) opposite from the closet. I hold tan colored couches and a blue languorous boy. We are going to be getting new wood pieces (entertainment center and book case) so that color is free to pick for. We are getting bright carpet too, so any concept on what to get would be great too. besides that I own no idea what to do for windowpane treatment or color for the walls. I was thinking seaside theme or something soothing. I am not into irregular colors. My family is massively laid back and we enjoy 2 small children (4 and 9 months) so it has to be kid friendly. Any thinking? or any sites I can see pics with? Help? We hold been contained by this house for almost 3 years and I have no theory what to do. I am interior decorating challeged...:)
Answers: For a wall color, you might check out "oyster bay" by sherwin williams. it would walk with your shore theme, tranquil & serene, and it will coordinate next to the blue lounger.
Painted cream wood furniture or a light, colloquial wood would look great with a shoreline cottage theme.
a ample bold mirror will really open up the room and create the image that its bigger then it already is. night light colours do the trick too.
