Answers: You don't give too much info, but, if it is a one color stencil, it shouldn't be too difficult. A continuous border is much easier to do if you put it at the chair-rail point as opposed to a ceiling border. Use painters' video to hold the stencil in place while you work, or use stencil glue. The biggest mistake that I made, when I first started to stencil, was mortal impatient. I tried to put too much paint on too quickly. Don't rush. Make sure you acquire the excess paint off your brush and start at the outside margin and work in. If you enjoy never stenciled before, you might want to practice on a piece of poster board first.
