It's a weird situation as the front door opens to the kitchen, not a foyer or living room, it's a impressively small house. I need an idea so it does not look inappropriate inside the kitchen but still nice on the outside as a front door. This is not a formal house, it is older and I like french country.

Why not do a single french door, that method you get a lot of insubstantial and it would make a small house feel bigger, plus nation love the idea of bringing a little bit of the outdoors contained by...so this would help achieve that!
