The first room we are painting is the study room:
the furniture is all reddish-purple, period. however, the shelves are white (they basically blend contained by with the walls). our pictures are of Paris and they have gold ingots frames. the clock also has gold frames. any suggestions?
the subsequent room we're painting is our living room. this is really hard to establish becasue they're so many colors to work with. we hold red and cream colored curtains, biege sofa, green lazyboys, green and cream pillows, maroon shelves, show cases & coffee tables, brownish/orangish indian form and a brown rug. need help for a color here!
the next room is the formal dining room and sitting area (which are connected). the sofas are brown and cream, the dining table, show crust, and coffee tables are brown or maroon and next we have brown furniture here and there. we inevitability two colors for that room.
the final room is the master bedroom suite. the bed is brownish/orange and so are the other pieces of furniture (its all a set). color?
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the pattern, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can flush by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most convincing, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think it would look terrific to paint your study a drawn silver like "first star" (# 7646).
A gold approaching "rustic city" (# 7699) would be best for the living room.
"Santorini Blue" (# 7607) and "believable buff" (# 6120) would look great in the dining room with the brown & reddish-purple.
The brown orange in the bedroom would look gorgeous highlighted by a washed out like "solaria" (# 6688).
I would do the sitting room off of the bedroom "wheat grass" (# 6408).
And adjectives of these colors will harmonize & flow well surrounded by your home - I guarantee.
Wow! You're gonna be busy!
I'll donate you some suggestions that I hope are helpful.
Study room: A light buttery wan for the walls. Can you paint the wall BEHIND the shelves so some color shows through? If so, paint that maroon to make the shelves pop instead of blend.
Living room: next to all the colors in at hand I would stick to a neutral, but not too light...a reheat sandy color.
Use the same color in the dining and sitting areas except add on an accent wall in wine-red or chocolate.
Master bedroom depends upon your comforter set. Choose a color from it to paint.
Answers: Study - sage green, gray, or cadet blue would be a good complement to the claret and gold.
Living room - You may want to pick up the cream and put it on the wall. You'd do best to stick with a indistinct because there are so many strong colors already.
Dining/sitting - If the rooms are connected, you want to take one color to both rooms to have them visually connect. How much natural lighting comes into these rooms? It will affect your choice of color. If you want to bring a lot of energy into them, try a coordinating red or tuscan sickly. If your dining room has a chair banister, you could put a stronger color, like a red that coordinates with the brown/maroon (not like peas in a pod color, but a little lighter/brighter and a light indistinct above, then carry the restrained neutral into the sitting room.
Master bedroom - if you want the room to be tranquil, select a cool color, like blue or green.
To be paid sure the color will work, don't be afraid to ask for a sample that you can paint onto the wall (the chips are too small for you to see how the color will work). Also, you can get an hypothesis of how a particular color will look in a room by using the ColorSmart previewer at www.behr.com.
